The show, which is set to begin on Saturday, September 26 will see Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson mentor singers to find the next big band to support them on their next tour.
The trailer shows the girl band reunite post-lowdown with their song ‘Power’ playing in the background. Leigh-Anne, 28 wearing a sleek leather bodysuit sends her bandmates a text saying: “Let’s find an amazing band!”
Perrie, 27 who looks runway ready in an oversized red coat, replies saying: “Yes! To support us on tour!”
Jesy, 29 stuns in a see-through bodysuit and high waist trousers, wrote: “And take over the world.”
Jade, 27 redefines office chic wearing a red dress, with a black sleeveless blazer, texts: “YASS let’s do it!”
The trailer then fades into a montage of the girl band performing on stage during a sold-out tour, while also highlighting what their looking for on the show: boyband, girl dance, mixed, instruments, rap R&B and girl vocal.
The Search, which is set to air on BBC One and iPlayer later this month, after being delayed from the spring due to the coronavirus pandemic will be hosted by South Shields comedian, Chris Ramsay.
BBC One released a sneak peak of show on August 29, where Little Mix are seen meeting some of the singers who have auditioned for the chance to be mentored by the girl band.
In the video, Jade expresses her concerns on judging the singers due to the fact they’ve been through the same experience, saying: “It’s so much harder for us to judge than like, the usual judges on these shows because we’ve been there.”
The word-record breaking girl band were formed on the X-Factor in 2011, after originally auditioning as solo artists.
Now, it’s their turn to take soloists and turn them into the next big band in the music industry.
