Little Mix: The Search continued on Sunday evening (October 11) as Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock formed their sixth and final band that will compete to battle for a place on their 2021 tour.
The record-breaking girlband have formed five other bands including a boyband, mixed group, a girl vocal group, a vocal and instrument group and a girl dance group and during episode six auditioned hopefuls for a Rap R&B group.
Auditions kicked off with brothers from Manchester, Kyrome and Fabian who performed a heart-warming cover of Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’.
Leigh-Anne and Jesy were seen to be tearing up during their emotional audition, with Leigh-Anne wiping away tears periodically throughout the song.
Jesy told the duo: “I just love how raw and honest you guys are, I love how when you sing you still have your accents.
“It’s really cool, not many people have that, it brings a real different flavour to you guys.
“The rapping is brilliant, the beat boxing, I don’t know why you made us cry, something about you is really infectious.”
Leigh-Anne added: “It’s just real, these shows needs real people, I just feel so emotional right now, I don’t know even why.
“The moment you started I was drawn in and I love your chemistry.
“I am a bit speechless right now, I loved that audition.”
Despite making it through to The Band Room, the brothers failed to bring it in rehearsals and were sent home before making it in front of a crowd.
Overall eight acts (including the brothers from Manchester) made it through to The Band Room and had to prove themselves during rehearsals in front of Little Mix.
The girls were left underwhelmed and after a tough deliberation sent two acts home.
The final six rap and R&B hopefuls performed in front of a live audience for the first time in an impressive attempt to make it to the final line-up.
With only four spaces in the group, Little Mix shouted their names one-by-on and the successful group members included: Eden, Ashley, VerSay, Romina.
Next week begins Battle Of The Bands, were all six groups will perform live to fight for the chance to support Little Mix on their 2021 tour.
