Gemma Styles opens up a conversation about mental health in new #findthelight campaign

Gemma Styles is back and in collaboration with Kenmark Eyewear and MQ Mental Health Research sets to launch a new social campaign #findthelight which aims to open the conversation surrounding mental health on Sunday, November 1.

In the campaign video, Gemma recruits friends and fans to share what finding the light means to them, she said: “To me find the light means actively trying to notice those little happy things that happen throughout your day.

“I think if you have experience with mental health conditions then you know it tends to be the small things rather than big things that get you through the day.”

According to a recent study, 43.6 million adults in the US suffer from mental illness, while suicide is the largest killer of young people in the UK and with more than 6.2M Instagram followers, Gemma now turns to her fans to help spread the word about the campaign.

You can get involved in two ways:

1. Purchase a special edition pair of Don’t Stop Sunglasses priced at $68 and 10% of proceeds will automatically be donated to MQ Mental Health Research or;

2. Share what Find The Light means to you on social media in a photo, video or caption with #findthelight and be entered into a prize draw where three lucky winners will be chosen to receive a pair of limited edition Don’t Stop Sunglasses. Winners will be announced Monday, November 16.
