The Search is over for Little Mix as talent show launches career for next big boyband

The final episode of Little Mix: The Search aired tonight (November 7) where the remaining four groups went head-to-head for the chance win a spot on Little Mix’s 2021 Confetti Tour.

Little Mix opened the show performing as a three piece singing “Secret Love Song” which among their fan base has become a LGBTQ anthem.

Jesy Nelson was unfortunately absent from the show as she is “unwell” according to a statement released on Saturday morning. The 29-year-old was also due to appear alongside her bandmates at the EMA’s tomorrow and has had to pull out.

Each group performed two songs each, which were pre-recorded live in front of Little Mix due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock scored each performance out of 100 “for fun” keeping in tune with the shows format. However, the winner of the show came down to a public vote, which once independently verified was announced live on BBC One.

The Search is over and after nearly being eliminated in the semi-final Since September won the public vote and the boyband will be joining Little Mix on tour next year.

The tour is the next step for the newly formed boyband, in what could be a successful career in the music industry and we’re wishing them the best of luck on their journey – afterall we did vote for them.
