What to watch this Christmas

As it’s clear we’ll be spending most of Christmas indoors, we’re so glad the TV schedule is looking good. Here’s what to watch this year

Christmas Eve

Katherine Jenkins: Christmas Spectacular from the Royal Albert Hall
ITV
We can’t wait for these seasonal favourites to get us into the spirit before the big day.

Gavin & Stacey
BBC1
So we’re pretty gutted there’s still no follow-up to the cliffhanger from last Christmas’s episode, so a re-run of that will have to do.

Cinderella: A Comic Relief Pantomime for Christmas
BBC2
We’ve been missing pantos this year, so we’re so pleased to hear there’ll be one to look forward to from the comfort of our sofas.

Christmas Day

Call The Midwife
BBC1
We’d be lost without the midwives at Christmas, seriously. We can’t wait to see what they’ve been up to.

Strictly: The Christmas Countdown
BBC1
We’re already missing our Strictly fix since (spoiler alert) Bill and Oti grabbed the glitterball. So this is music to our ears.

Boxing Day

Home Alone 2
Channel 4
A Christmas classic.

The Masked Singer
ITV
We can’t wait for this guilty pleasure to return.

Dunkirk
BBC1
We loved this wartime drama a few years ago, so we’re sure this will be added to our watchlist.

What are you looking forward to watching this Christmas?
