Harry Styles new music video for “Treat People With Kindness” features a surprising co-star

Harry Styles is capping of a year of chart-topping success and Grammy nominations for his album Fine Line by releasing a surprise music video on New Years Day for his song “Treat People With Kindness”.

The black and white video features the former One Direction singer, now solo artist as a cabaret star performing in a 1930s-styled nightclub. Harry who became an ambassador for Gucci back in 2018, is of course representing the brand strongly throughout the video, seen wearing a glittering cropped tuxedo jacket, high waist jazz trousers and a sequinned bow tie.

While the timing of the video came as a surprise to fans, and kicked off the New Year with some razzle-dazzle, Styles did give us a hint that there would be a familiar face making a cameo in the video when he announced its release on Instagram. In the image we can see Styles stood alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge, creator of Fleabag and Killing Eve.

In the video Phoebe appears as a punter at the club, wearing a white suit and sipping a martini before being led to the stage by Harry Styles. The pair then reveal matching sequinned sweater vests, and bust out into a well-choreographed and fun dance routine that gets everyone up on their feet for a full audience participation grand finale.

If this song didn’t already get you up on your feet singing and dancing, then it will now as Harry and Phoebe have surely given us a video to watch again, and again, and again until we’re all danced out.
