Trend Setter: Shoppers are searching to ‘recreate’ Harry Styles’ look from his latest music video

Harry Styles kicked off the new year by releasing the music video for his song “Treat People With Kindness” and treating fans to a fun and energetic 1930s cabaret featuring actress, writer, and producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

In the video Harry wears head-to-toe Gucci, adorned in a glittering cropped tuxedo jacket, high waist jazz trousers and a sequinned bow tie. He later removes his jacket to reveal a sequinned sweater vest.

Since the release of the video on January 1, 2021 there has been a spike in searches for sequin items by 425%, according to Lyst. Furthermore, page views for white and wide-legged trousers have jumped 40% for both menswear and womenswear, while the demand for Gucci has increased by 23% in comparison to the previous week.

The wardrobe design in the “Treat People With Kindness” music video is classy and sophisticated and it comes as no surprise that these searches have become so popular — to recreate this look, or even pick elements and dress around a signature piece would be a fashion bloggers dream, and wouldn’t we all love the chance to wear head-to-toe Gucci at least once in our lives.

The easiest part of this outfit to probably get your hands on are white wide-legged trousers, so we’ve done some scouting and found a few pairs just for you.
