These days spending another holiday in lockdown seems almost grim. However, for those who live with their partners, this year Valentines Day won’t be a complete write off.
But if your plan is a takeaway and a movie, it’s time to think outside the box and surprise your love with the perfect movie moment they’ve always dreamed of.
1. 13 Going On 30
A little blast from the past, 13 going on 30 is a classic and if you don’t feel like jumping on the bed and singing your heart out to “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar a dance party between two people who love each other is always fun.

2. P.S I Love You
While a sad movie, in the days of technology we overlook the importance and sentiment of a handwritten letter. Take inspiration form Gerry this Valentines Day and write a P.S I Love You note to the person who means the most to you.

3. The Notebook
While the Ferris wheel and beach may be off limits this Valentines Day, there are plenty of romantic indoor moments to take from The Notebook. This February 14, snuggle up by the fire with some classical music and maybe tell a story.

4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
Maybe a takeaway and a movie isn’t such a bad idea…

5. Just Go With It
While we all wish we were in a tropical paradise right now, there is nothing stopping you from whipping up a couple of Piña colada’s and playing a little round of coconut smoothies – and don’t forget to tell each other three things you love about the other.

6. The Duff
Sometimes the simple things can be the most romantic consider a loving stroll in your local area.

7. The Longest Ride
If February 14 happens to being with it a beautiful day maybe head into the garden for a picnic. However, if the weather proves unforgiving bring it inside and enjoy it in front of the fireplace.

8. Leap Year
One thing that always brings people together is cooking. So get yourselves in the kitchen and make your favourite meal, or recreate the dishes from your first date (so romantic!) – However, it’s not about what you make, as long as you do it together.
