Gender-neutral fashion has been an increasing trend over the last couple years. As people continue to experiment with the idea that clothing doesn’t have to be defined by gender stereotypes, shoppers are now beginning to seek out more gender-neutral accessories. Over the last three months searches for “unisex” watches have spiked 45% with gender-neutral and classic designs by Rolex, Tissot and Omega being the most sought-after.
Watches in a 40-millimeter format or larger, that historically have been categorized for men, are trending among female shoppers with page views up 153%. The same goes for automattic and mechanical watches which are up 125%. Over the same timeframe male shoppers have been searching for 38mm cases or smaller and gem-cut pieces.
In a world, that at times can be filled with so much hate, it is trends like this that help us recognise positive changes, politically and socially.
