Little Mix drop first music video as a trio and it features three Drag Race UK queens

The music video for Little Mix’s first single as a trio has dropped, as Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have re-recorded their song Confetti, without Jesy Nelson.

The new version also includes a new verse added by rapper Saweetie.

The video shows Little Mix getting hot and sweaty on the dance floor, as we enter into a dark club-like atmosphere. Among the many patrons, are three faces you may recognise from season 2 of Drag Race UK, A’Whora, Tayce and Bimini Bon Boulash.

While not the first drag queens to feature in a Little Mix music video, as Power and Bounce Back both saw familiar Drag Race US faces, we always love to see them make an appearance.

The queens are even given speaking roles where they fall back on popular phrases from the UK spin-off of Drag Race during the music video such as “cheek, nerve, audacity, gall and gumption” after someone spills a drink on them.

One of the more noteworthy aspects of the video, were Little Mix transforming themselves into Drag Kings as the video sees Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne not only as their usual fashion-forward selves, but also serving us their male alter egos and face-off in a dance challenge with them, before heading off to the toilets to talk about how attractive their counterparts are.

For any fans nervous about how the group may proceed as a trio, the video may put any concerns to rest. Little Mix are still Little Mix, and we can’t wait to see what they have in-store for us on their Confetti Tour.
