Accessorize launch stylish home collection in collaboration with WWF

British accessories brand Accessorize has launched a stylish home collection in collaboration with WWF.

Inspired by the film, “David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet” the Accessorize Home collection has been developed with WWF’s environmental policies in mind. The collection features materials such as natural silks, organic cottons and Oeko-Tex fabrics, which have been certified as safe for both people and planet.

Paying homage to some of the world’s most loved animals, such as elephants, tigers and zebras, the range of artistry for your home includes hand-embellished cushion covers, make-up bags, pouches, scrunchies and slippers.

In collaboration with the WWF, Accessorize is supporting environmental concerns including global biodiversity, and purchases from the range that include products wit an animal motif, will see Accessorize make a donation to WWF’s global work to protect and restore the planet.

Accessorize Managing Director, Kathleen Mitchell said: “We are thrilled to be extending Accessorize’s offer of irresistible accessories to homeware. Each handmade piece is designed with love and the planet in mind. Sustainability and ethical sourcing have always been a core value of our business. Working now with WWF, we are taking a giant leap forward and this has been an opportunity to accelerate our sustainability roadmap.

“We are inspired by WWF’s commitment to protecting and restoring our planet and feel it’s important to support them and be guided by their expertise and knowledge of the natural world. This collection allows our customers to beautifully accessorise their home, and celebrate the natural world, while supporting the future of our planet.”

Accessorize is proud to share a collection that will help support WWF’s critical work creating a world where people and nature thrive together.

Sustainability and environmental conservation are present throughout the entire collection as Accessorize continues their Sustainability Charter efforts, with the focus on three key pillars: Product, people and planet.

Sarah Ward, Director of Individual Marketing and Legacies, WWF said: “Our world is our one shared home, but right now it is under threat like never before. Like us, the magnificent species featured in this collection all need a safe, healthy space to survive – and we can all play our part to help make that happen.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with Accessorize on this beautiful homeware range, which will support our work around the world to tackle the climate and nature crisis, so that people and nature can thrive together.”

The brand pledge to ensure 60% of its entire range has a sustainable element by 2024, and 100% by 2030.
