13 Movies for a spooky Halloween night-in

Lockdown restrictions have eased and nation is ready for a PARTY. But, let’s remember we’re still in a pandemic, and if you’ve chosen a cosy autumn night-in with popcorn, candy and hot chocolate then we have the perfect movie marathon playlist for you. A little bit of black comedy mixed with toe curling scares, there’s something for everybody.

1. Fear Street Triology (2021) — Netflix

After a series of brutal slayings, a teen and her friends take on an evil force that’s plagued their notorious town for centuries.

2. Ghostbusters (1984) — Netflix

Three parapsychologists forced out of their university funding set up shop as a unique ghost removal service in New York City, attracting frightened yet skeptical customers.

The Addams Family is an American supernatural black comedyfilm based on the characters from the cartoon created by cartoonist Charles Addams.

Adelaide Wilson and her family are attacked by mysterious figures dressed in red. Upon closer inspection, the Wilsons realise that the intruders are exact lookalikes of them.
